Resumen de La influencia de Luigi Groto en la poesía amorosa de Francisco de Quevedo

Alessandra Ceribelli

  • Franscisco de Quevedo’s relationship with the Italian literary tradition is a prolific research area. In some poems from Erato, the imitation of Groto’s works is evident, but Quevedo uses this source as a point of departure to completely recreate it according to Baroque and conceptista sensibilities. Through a comparison of the source with the reworked version, I intend to mark the improvements of Quevedo’s poetry in terms of versification, meaning and how the poet transforms Petrarchan imagery.
