Starting from Llull’s use of a specific literary term (verses) to describe the structure of his poem Cent noms de Déu, this article aims at comparing the literary genres lists that appear in his work with precise references to the Occitan production which Llull despised and with specific troubadours who were related with the Crown of Aragon.
In the end we will examine which literary genres were preserved after the reformation of the society proposed by Llull and how he defined his own poems.
