    El presente trabajo da cuenta del proceso de inserción y reutilización de técnicas como el tejido y el bordado dentro del repertorio del arte de acción. A través del análisis de diversas piezas de performance,especialmente del ámbito iberoamericano, se evidencia cómo la técnica se desmarca de su carácter funcional y se reconvierte en una forma artística capaz de instalar un discurso estético alternativo desde la esfera de lo cotidiano y lo doméstico. Lo que muestran las diferentes obras analizadas, es el rescate de lo artesanal como dispositivo crítico y comunicacional, y cómo las acciones de tejer, coser o bordar configuran un espacio performativo, donde el proceso y la relación entre el artista y el espectador constituyen la obra de arte.

    The current text refers the process of insertion and reuse of techniques such as weaving and embroidery within the repertoire of action art. Through the analysis of various pieces of performance art, especially in the Ibero-American sphere, it is evident how the technique is liberate from its functional character and is converted into an artistic form able to install an alternative aesthetic discourse from the sphere of the everyday and the domestic. The different works analyzed is showing the rescue of the craft techniques as a critical and communicational device, and how the actions of weaving, sewing or embroidering creat a performative space, where the process and the relationship between the artist and the spectator constitute the artwork.
