  • The article discusses changes in the way technological innovations are controlled. Topics include how several innovative product introductions, such as the Apple II personal computer and the iPhone, which were invented by co-founder and chairman of the multinational computer manufacturer Apple Inc. Steve Jobs, changed the telecommunications industry and the battle between the freedom of Internet openness and the safety of a company's control over its applications and content.
