  • The article looks at a report from the U.S. Government Accounting Office (GAO) which indicates that the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) does not regulate contaminants in drinking water carefully, uses insensitive testing methods, and makes regulatory decisions only on some contaminants.
