  • The article discusses the "Archimedes Palimpsest," a parchment book which contains texts written by the ancient Greek mathematician Archimedes. "Lost and Found: The Secrets of Archimedes," an exhibit at the Walters Art Museum in Baltimore, Maryland, will present panels and videos which show technology including x-rays was used to map hidden text. Mathematics historian Reviel Netz discusses his work on the diagrams and text of the palimpsest.
