  • The article discusses the roles of parents and medical professionals in vaccinating children. Topics include parental anxiety about vaccination, the risks of a child's development of infectious diseases like measles, mumps, and chicken pox from a lack of immunization, and complications from the diseases such as pneumonia. It is suggested that medical professions need to educate and develop relationships with parents through web interaction and prenatal classes to discuss concerns and myths about vaccination.
