    • In this article the author discusses how knowing the laws of persuasion can help individuals deal with automobile salesmen. The author cites the article "The Science of Persuasion," by social psychologist Robert B. Cialdini that appeared in the February 2001 issue of "Scientific American" and discusses how the methods outlined in the article helped him deal with salesmen while shopping for a new automobile.
