  • In this article the authors discuss nuclear power. They note the increased public outcry in the U.S. and other countries against nuclear power following the accident at Japan's Fukushima Daiichi nuclear reactor complex, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission's (NRC's) claims regarding the safety of nuclear energy, and the public's need for clarity regarding the safety of nuclear power.
