    • In this article the author discusses the increasing problem of false claims and exaggerated results in peer-reviewed scientific studies in fields including economics, the social sciences, and the natural sciences. He argues that the problem is especially egregious in biomedicine noting, many studies claiming that a drug or treatment is beneficial have proven to be untrue. He discusses how scientists can improve the way they do research and how they disseminate evidence.
