The article discusses a fleet of small robotic automobiles owned by the U.S. search engine company Google that have the ability to analyze enormous amount of data from cameras, radar sensors, and range-finders based on an 18th-century math theorem posited by English clergyman Thomas Bayes, called the Bayes rule. A brief overview of how Bayes is revolutionizing robotics is presented.
