  • Resumen
    • The article discusses the skepticism of the general public regarding science. The author explores why the public chooses not to believe what scientists say. He offers an example of American's belief in the autism-vaccine link despite scientific studies showing no link, notes a survey by the U.S. National Science Foundation that found the public trust scientists, and discusses the paradox of why individuals trust scientists in general, but not when it comes to specific issues, such as autism.
