  • The article reports that pediatric HIV infections may be hindering measles eradication efforts in developing countries, such as Sub-Saharan Africa. Topics include brief overview of results from several studies, including one that found HIV-positive infants do not response well to measles vaccine even when administered a second dose at nine months and the implications of HIV infection for immunization efforts.
