In this article the authors discuss the concept of net neutrality, which is the equal treatment of content by Internet service providers. They note the worry that Internet service providers, sensing a business opportunity, might make deals with content providers to the detriment of Internet users, such as the delivery of faster access for a fee, offer examples to illustrate the possibility of such things happening, and how it can be avoided.
