The article profiles climate scientist Judith Curry, her insights on climate change, and her emerging engagement in what is termed the climate change skeptic community. Curry's reasoned view is that science, including climate science, needs to be questioned so that areas of thinking that need improvement can be corrected. Curry's criticism of and a call for reform within the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) is noted. The need for improved communication and outreach by climate scientists to the public is discussed. INSET: Making Sense of Trends.
