Not cheating at solitaire: discussion on predictive factors

  • Playing a solitaire with physical cards may be a source of frustration because, when it is on the verge of being solved, it can turn out that the final cards are not favourably arranged and the solitaire cannot be won. Wouldit be possible to suffle the cards in a specific way such that the solitaire can always be won? Factors regarding the position of te cards in a randomly shuffles card deck, that allow to predict whether the solitaire can be won or not (without starting the card game) are addressed in this article.
