Here, Wolz shares her experience working with medical staff in the West African country of Sierra Leone, where the people have never experienced an outbreak of Ebola on this scale before. Sadly, at the moment a lot of their work is dealing with dead bodies. But they are also training local healthcare workers and reaching out to communities to try to slow the spread of the virus. She thinks that, with more sick people coming to their treatment centers rather than staying in the community and risking spreading the virus, and with continued education, they will see a big change in the situation. With enough centers, medication, educated people and support, they can turn this epidemic around.
