  • Resumen
    • In the article the authors discuss how global undernutrition can be improved through the partnership of public and private sectors. They believe that world hunger can be reduced if food companies address issues including investment in agriculture, distribution of products and fortification of food and beverages. On May 13, 2008 several chief executive officers (CEOs) from multinational food and beverage companies signed the Global Commitment to Action, which aims to improve global malnutrition. Ready-to-use therapeutic food (RUTF), social business models and food company PepsiCo are also discussed.
