  • The author reflects on caring for parenting adolescents and their families. The author suggests that sobering statistics describing poor outcomes for pregnant and parenting adolescents and their children are often cited and well known. The author argues that to improve the outcomes of adolescent parents and their children, increased emphasis needs to be placed on funding evaluations that examine more than just factors related to repeat pregnancy.
