Resumen de Supporting Adolescent Mothers: A Journey Through Policies, Programs, and Research.
The author reflects on the role that Adolescent Family Life (AFL) Care Demonstration Grants play in providing services and programs for adolescent mothers in the U.S. and their families and discusses funding reductions to AFL which have been seen in 2012. She suggests that the funding reductions are a shame because AFL funding helped sustain many services for vulnerable adolescent mothers. She argues that U.S. policy makers need to recognize that continued investment in AFL is worthwhile.
