  • In this article the author offers his opinions on the relationship between public health, health care and politics in the U.S. A discussion of various reports which are featured in the issue, including articles which examine the impact policy changes in the U.S. have on infant feeding, bullying and dental services for children, is presented. The author also reflects on the need to incorporate the political and social context of health in U.S. policy making decisions which are related to health care.
