  • Resumen
    • In this article the author reflects on the birth rate of adolescents in the U.S. She suggests that adolescent pregnancy can have long term negative consequences for both a mother and her baby. She argues that if adolescent pregnancy rates are to be lowered in the U.S., national policies must be developed and implemented which focus on increasing educational attainment and social and economic access to improved options and outcomes for all adolescents.
