  • The authors reflect on oral health services that are available in the U.S. They suggest that the oral health status of most Americans has improved considerably since 1951. They argue that health care reform measures which have been implemented in the U.S. offer the dental profession a chance to reform itself to create new delivery approaches for oral health services.
