  • The article discusses various reports published in the issue, including one by Mosher on the ways in which industry has launched extensive marketing campaigns at a cost to public health, one by Brandt and Ross on the ways in which industry has appropriated medical authority and compromised scientific knowledge to further its own interests and one by Jennigan on the ways in which industry has countered public health policy initiatives that would limit access to markets.
