  • In this article the authors discuss the experiences that they encountered while attempting to care for their older parents with serious medical conditions. A discussion of the challenges that many U.S. consumers face when attempting to care for aging parents, and of the role that public health services can play in helping to alleviate or manage the challenges, is presented.
