• The article reports on the prevalence of suicide in the U.S., and particularly, on a high rate of suicide which is seen among active members of the U.S. military and among U.S. military veterans. In the article the authors offer their opinions on the important role that the assessment of U.S. military members and veterans can play in preventing suicide.
