Rebeldía juvenil: ¿realidad o mito?

     ResumenLos jóvenes se ven a sí mismos, ante todo, como rebeldes. Sin embargo, la actual crisis económica ha puesto de manifiesto con gran claridad, más que nunca hasta el momento en España, la apatía de la población española en general y de los jóvenes en particular a la hora de enfrentarse a los poderes políticos y económicos responsables. Usando principalmente los datos obtenidos en las investigaciones de la Fundación SM Jóvenes Españoles 2005 y Jóvenes Españoles 2010 y las reflexiones sociológicas en el terreno de juventud y consumo, la presente monografía pretende demostrar cómo la imagen de rebeldes que tienen los jóvenes de sí mismos no corresponde con su acción sociopolítica, sino a la imagen que acuña la sociedad de consumo y a una actitud anarca frente a sus deberes sociales.

    Young people see themselves als revels. Nevertheless, the current economic crisis in Spain has shown very clearly, more than ever, the apathy of the Spanish population in general and the youth in particular when confronting the responsible political and economic decision makers. In this context, however, many youth experts are drawing the attention to the fact that the involvement of youth policy, far from being diminished, is being transferred to forms of political action more informal and flexible. This monographic aims to demonstrate how the rebel image that the youngsters have of themselves is not corresponding with the socio-political action, rather corresponds to the image of consumer society and anarchy attitude versus the social duties. These sociological reflections about consumption and youth field have been done by using data from SM Foundation research about “Spanish Youth 2005 and 2010”.
