    El edificio se divide en altura en dos partes claramente diferenciadas. Las primeras plantas de forma prismática contienen las distintas áreas sanitarias del hospital (ambulatorio, diagnóstico y tratamiento), y sirven de base a dos torres en forma de ovalo que albergan las unidades de hospitalización.

    La planta del edificio es rectangular de 179,4x148,2 m2 y se ha resuelto sin juntas de dilatación.

    La profundidad del sustrato competente es variable por lo que el edificio se ha cimentado sobre pilotes de diámetro 85 cm con longitud variable. La parte prismática está formada por seis plantas (sótano, planta baja, planta primera, planta segunda, planta técnica y planta tercera) y se sustenta sobre una cuadrícula de pilares de 7,80x7,80 m2.

    La planta sótano, con uso destinado a instalaciones y aparcamientos, se ha resuelto con una solera de 20 cm de espesor. Cuando el sustrato competente es más profundo se ha resuelto con losa maciza de 30 cm de espesor apoyada sobre los encepados.

    El resto de plantas se ha resuelto con losas macizas de espesor 40, 35 y 30 cm, dependiendo de la carga de diseño. El acceso se produce por planta baja y primera, y el resto de usos ambulatorio, almacenes, diagnóstico y urgencias se localizan en planta baja, primera y segunda. La planta técnica situada entre planta tercera y segunda se ha destinado a instalaciones del edificio.

    Sobre la planta tercera nace la parte ovalada destinada a hospitalización. La distribución de pilares se modifica, apareciendo pilares apeados sobre una losa maciza postesada de espesor 70 cm. Fuera de los óvalos del edificio, se ha dispuesto una losa de 25 cm como cubierta de la parte prismática.

    Los dos óvalos están conformados por cinco plantas considerando la planta de nacimiento y cubierta. En la zona central de los óvalos existe un patio central, alrededor del cual se disponen todas las habitaciones.

    Los patios centrales están cubiertos por una marquesina metálica con forma de lenteja.

    The building is divided in height into two clearly differentiated parts. The first plants, with prismatic shape, contain the various sanitary areas of the hospital (outpatients, diagnostic and treatment), and serve as the basis of two oval shaped towers that house the inpatient units.

    The main floor is rectangular of 179.4 x148.2 m2 and has solved without expansion joints.

    Competent substrate depth is variable so that the building has been built on piles 85cm in diameter with variable length.

    The depth of the substrate competent is variable by what the foundation of the building is with pilot of diameter 85 cm with variable length. The prismatic part is consists of six floors (basement, ground level, first floor, second floor, technical level and third floor) and is supported on a grid of pillars of 7,80x7,80 m2.

    The basement level, destined to building facilities and parking uses, has been resolved with a concrete slab of 20 cm thickness. When the resistant substrate is deeper it has been used a concrete slab of 30 cm thickness supported on the pile caps.

    The other plants have been solved with solid slabs of thickness 40, 35 and 30 cm, depending on the design load. Access is by ground and first floors, and other outpatient uses, warehouses, diagnostics and emergency are located on the ground, first and second floor. The technical level situated between third and second floor was allocated for building facilities.

    Above the third floor arises the hospitalization area, with oval shape in plan. The columns arrangement varies, appearing pillars supported on a post-tensioned slab 70 cm depth.

    Outside the ovals of the building, is arranged a 25 cm concrete slab serving as roof of the prismatic part.

    The two ovals are conformed by five floors considering start and roof levels. In the middle of the ovals there is a central courtyard, around which all rooms are arranged.

    The central courtyards are covered by a lentil shaped metal canopy.
