    Se describe en la comunicación los criterios de análisis y diseño de todos los elementos que forman la superestructura, subestructura del PUENTE DE LA SILLA, así como su construcción. La obra se sitúa en el km 66+00I0 del Camino Libramiento Norte Monterrey, considerado dentro del proyecto DEL SISTEMA DE CAMINOS NUEVO LEON “SANTO DOMINGO”, en el ESTADO DE NUEVO LEON, MUNICIPIO DE JUÁREZ. Se trata de una estructura recta constituida por una gran viga central de hormigón armado de canto variable y un tablero aligerado de hormigón pretensado transversalmente. Las pilas son integrales, sin aparatos de apoyo, por lo que tablero, columnas, encepados y pilotes están unido rígidamente.

    The structure purpose in this communication is located in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. The bridge structure is basically formed by a large central reinforced concrete beam and variable height whose profile reminds and is inspired by the imposing profile of Saddle Mountain, visible from the city. The longitudinal resistance is guaranteed by the large central beam and a part of the cantilevered slab forming the bridge deck and is secured by transverse bending cantilevers lightened and reinforced by a transverse prestressing. The bridge lenght is 173 m distributed in six spans of 18, 26, 32, 24, 42 and 30 m. It has been designed with two lanes of traffic, sidewalks width of 2,50 m and a central ridge width of 3 m resulting in a total bridge width of 22,60 m.
