    El IRS (International Reporting System for Operating Experience) es un sistema internacional de notificación de incidentes creado en 1978 en el seno de la NEA y operado conjuntamente por la NEA y el OIEA desde 1983. Su finalidad es aumentar la seguridad de las centrales nucleares a nivel mundial a través del intercambio y el análisis de la experiencia operativa. Desde su creación hasta hoy ha demostrado ser una herramienta fundamental para la operación segura de las plantas de todo el mundo.

    The IRS (International Reporting System for Operating Experience) is an international system for notifying events created in 1978 by the NEA and jointly operated by the NEA and the IAEA since 1983. Its aim is to enhance NPP safety at a global level, through the exchange and review of operating experience. Since its creation, it has proved to be an essential tool for the safe operation of NPPs worldwide.
