    El centro histórico de Loja-Ecuador ha tenido múltiples transformaciones desde su configuración en el siglo xvi. Catástrofes naturales que se dieron en los siglos xvii y xviii, la ejecución del plan regulador en 1960 y la concentración de actividades comerciales y administrativas han dado paso a subdivisiones de terrenos de congregaciones religiosas consideradas de alto valor histórico. El análisis de estos fraccio- namientos permitirá diagnosticar y proponer soluciones a cada sitio urbano.

    The historic center of Loja-Ecuador has had multiple transformations since its configuration in the sixteenth century.

    Natural catastrophes that occurred in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, the implementation of the regulatory plan in 1960 and the concentration of commercial and administrative activities have given way to subdivisions of land of religious congregations considered of high historical value. The analysis of these subdivisions will allow to diagnose and propose solutions to each urban site.
