  • IUPAC has slated February 12, 2019, for a global breakfast entitled “Empowering Women in Chemistry: A Global Networking Event”. Pascarella and Terenzini have noted a relationship between persisting in STEM fields, including chemistry, and networking, mentoring, and engaging with faculty. Consider this a call to plan an event in your area to bring women chemists together for coffee and conversation. Expand your network and be part of a global event.
