Resumen de Educación y seguridad turística: Lineamientos estratégicos para la Playa Santa Marianita en Manabí, Ecuador

  El presente trabajo tuvo como objetivo realizar una propuesta educativa  basada en lineamientos estratégicos para la seguridad turística en la playa Santa Marianita, ubicada en el cantón Manta, Provincia de Manabí, Ecuador. Este estudio partió de un diagnostico  el cual permitió  conocer la realidad actual en el que se encuentra dicho destino en materia de seguridad, y a la vez obtener toda la información pertinente para la toma de decisiones adecuadas, con miras a alcanzar el desarrollo turístico de la comunidad. Metodológicamente el proyecto se suscribe una investigación de campo, puesto que la recolección de la información fue tomada directamente de la realidad donde ocurren los hechos y para ello no hubo manipulación ni control de las variables, se utilizó la técnica de la encuesta y como instrumento un cuestionario estructurado en dos partes una con preguntas abiertas y la otra parte  tipo escala, la cual fue aplicada a  los habitantes y a los turistas que visitan la zona. Una vez finalizado el estudio se propone a las autoridades competentes del área de turismo unificar los criterios para brindarle prestancia y seguridad a esta zona y con ello aumentar la afluencia de turistas.

  This work was aimed at making an educational proposal based on strategic guidelines for tourism safety in the Santa Marianita Beach, located in the Manta Canton, Manabí Province, Ecuador. This study was based on a diagnosis which allowed us to know the current reality in which this destination is located in terms of security, and at the same time to obtain all the pertinent information for the appropriate decision making, with a view to achieving the development Community tourism.

  Methodologically the project subscribes to a field investigation, since the collection of the information was taken directly from the reality where the facts occur and for this there was no manipulation nor control of the variables, the technique of the Survey and as a tool a questionnaire structured in two parts one with open questions and the other part type scale, which was applied to the inhabitants and tourists who visit the area. Once the study is finished, it proposes to the competent authorities of the area of tourism to unify the criteria to provide him and security to this area and thus increase the influx of tourists.
