    El propósito de este artículo es la descripción de un manuscrito de la Biblioteca Nacional de Israel, el Fr 3172. Contiene un tratado médico escrito en judeo-español por un autor o traductor sefardí. Según el catálogo del Institute of Microfilmed Hebrew Manuscripts (IMHM) se trata de una traducción del Canon de Avicena, pero en realidad es un texto complejo con unas partes en las que efectivamente el autor sigue el Canon de Avicena, y otras secciones que parecen ser una obra original donde el autor refleja su experiencia como médico. De acuerdo con la descripción del catálogo del IMHM fue escrita en Estambul en el s. XVII.

    The purpose of this article is the description of a manuscript in the National Library of Israel. It contains a medical treatise written in Judeo-Spanish by a Sephardic Jew. According to the catalogue of the Institute of Microfilmed Hebrew Manuscripts (IMHM), the manuscript is a translation of the Canon of Avicenna but in reality it is a complex text, parts of which follow the Avicenna’s Canon and other sections that seem to be an original work based on the author’s own experience as a physician.

    The IHMH catalogue states that the work was written in Istanbul in the 17th century.
