  • Resumen
    • The article discusses criminal forensics and the prospective use of a suspect's genetic code to construct a sketch of the suspect's face. The article notes a drawing constructed from the DNA remains of a Stone Age resident of Greenland and aspects of the techniques used by Danish scientists to do so. Anthropologist Mark Shriver is cited regarding the link between DNA and facial appearance. Scientist Daniele Podini is cited regarding the DNA Initiative of the U.S. National Institute of Justice. Isolating the effects of genes involved in body development is said to be the prominent factor in deriving the appearance of a specific person.
