  • The article discusses various news items that the author has thought about and invites the reader to give them some thought as well including a 2007 survey revealing the percentage of the U.S. federal budget respondents thought went to fund the U.S. National Aeronautics & Space Administration (NASA), the assertion by the U.S. animal-rights group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) that captive groundhogs are stressed, and that embryonic stem cell research is morally wrong.
