  • The article discusses how dark matter is being used to explain the formation of giant black holes in the early universe. Black holes, which lay at the center of many galaxies, have masses billions of times larger than the Sun. Topics include the increasing number of supermassive black holes, which were rare in the early universe, and how astronomers are using dark matter to solve the puzzle of how supermassive black holes evolved.
