    The financial operations of universities, as operators of the State, were profoundly affected by the French act 2007-1199 of 10 August 2007 related to the freedoms and responsibilities of universities. Universities must now have their accounts certified by a statutory audit firm. The paradigm shift is important and the impact on the financial account, historically a single account, is substantial.

    L'université en tant qu'opérateur de l'État a été profondément bouleversée dans son fonctionnement financier par la loi 2007-1199 du 10 août 2007 relative aux libertés et responsabilités des universités. Elle est maintenant tenue de faire certifier ses comptes par un cabinet de commissaires aux comptes. Le changement de paradigme est important, et l'impact sur le compte financier, traditionnellement unique, est conséquent.
