Angiografía digital por sustracción: valor diagnóstico y orientación terapeútica en la patología vascular oftálmica

    Hemos recogido en nuestro Servicio 21 casos de isquemia oftálmica en sus diferentes formas de presentación, para luego, analizar el papel de la Angiografía Digital por Sustracción (D.I.V.A.S.) como prueba, fácil de realizar, pococostosa y de escasos efectos secundarios, capaz de reflejar la situación del territorio vascular del paciente.

    Del total de D.l.V.A.S. Realizados, 13 (61%) reflejaron algún tipo de patologia en el árbol vascular carotídeo, siendo en el grupo de las embolias donde de forma más constante aparecia esta patologia.

    Demostramos que en las Embolias Retinianas y en la Enfermedad Oclusiva de la Carótida Interna es una prueba de primer orden que siempre debe realizarse y que facilita a posteriori la posible indicación quirúrgica.

    We have reported in our department 21 cases of ophthalmological ischemia in its differents ways of appearance, for then analyze the roll of the digital angiography by subtraction (D.I.V.A.S.) as a test, easy to do, not expensive and with little secondary effects, able to show the vascular area situation of the patient. From the total of D.I.V.A.S. made, 13 (61 %) shown some kind of pathology in the carotid vascular tree, being in the emboli group where in a more constant way, this pathology appears.

    We demonstrate, that in the retinal emboli and in the occlusive disease of the internal carotid, is a test of first instance that always has to be done, and makes easier later on, the possibility of a surgical indication
