Resumen de Factores pronósticos en la cirugía del vítreo de la retinopatía diabética proliferante

  Se estudia el valor pronóstico de 14 variables sobre el resultado de la vitrectomía en la retinopatía diabética proliferante. Se estudia una población de 101 pacientes y la valoración se establece en función de la agudeza visual medida a los 6 meses. De los resultados obtenidos se infiere que las características de la diabetes, la edad y el sexo, no tienen valor predictivo. De las condiciones preoperatorias sólo ha mostrado tener cierto valor predictivo la no existencia de rubeosis de iris. En lo que se refiere al acto quirúrgico, sólo la realización de retinotomías ha tenido un efecto negativo.

  We study the value of forecast of 14 variables on the result of the vitrectomy in the proliferant diabetic retinopathy.

  We study a population of 101 patients and the valuation is established in arder to the medium visual acuity after 6 months.

  Of the results obtained we find out that the characteristics of the diabetes the age and the sex, haven't got a predictive value.

  The only postoperatary condition which has shown a certain predective value is the non existence of iris rubeosis.

  In referring to the surgical act, only the realization of retinotomies has had a negative effect.
