La trabeculectomía multifiltrante pretende aumentar el flujo de salida por la fístula parcialmente protegida, sin provocar pérdidas de cámara anterior e hipotensiones oculares marcadas.
En 18 ojos fáquicos con presión ocular preoperatoria media de 27 mmHg. (con medicación) han pasado a una presión postoperatoria de 13,11 mmHg. Con un seguimiento medio de 16 meses.
En 17 ojos se realizó cirugía combinada de catarata y glaucoma siendo que 7 se consideraron después afáquicos (incluyendo un caso con L.l.O. de cámara anterior) y 10 pseudofáquicos todos ellos con L.l.O. de cámara posterior.
El primer grupo pasó de 19, 29 mmHg. de P.O. media antes de operar a 15,57 mmHg. de P.O. media en un tiempo promediado de 2 años y 3 meses después de la intervención.
El segundo grupo (pseudofáquicos) pasó de 19,30 mmHg. de media antes de la operación combinada a 15 mmHg. de media en un tiempo promediado de 1 año y 10 meses después de la intervención.

The multifiltrant trabeculectomy pretends to increase the exit flux by the partially protected fistula, without producing damages of anterior cham ber and m arked ocular hypertensions.
19 phakic eyes with average postoperatory ocular pressure of 27 mmHg. (with medication) have passed to a postoperatory pressure of 13,11 mmHg. with an averagefollowing of 16 months.
In 17 eyes we made a combined surgery of cataract and glaucoma, being 7 of them considered as aphakic (includi ng a case with IOl of anterior chamber) and 10 pseudophakic, all of them with IOl of posterior chamber.
The first group passed from average 19,29 mmHg. of O.P. before operating, to average 15,57 mmHg. of O.P. in 2 years and three months time after the intervention.
The second group (pseudophakic) passed from an average 19,30 mmHg. before the combined operation to 15 mmHg., in ayear and ten months time after the intervention.
