Resumen de Esclerosis tuberosa de Bourneville: revisión clínica

Se han estudiado 14 pacientes afectos de esclerosis tuberosa, analizándose las manifestaciones clínicas que presentaban. Los hallazgos dermatológicos más frecuentes han sido las manchas hipopigmentadas. Se han encontrado calcificaciones intracraneales en todos los pacientes estudiados.
Se discuten los cuadros oftalmológicos más frecuentes que acompañan a la enfermedad, entre los que destacan los facomas retinianos que fueron hallados en 5 pacientes.

The clinical manifestations of fourteen patients with tuberous sclerosis have been studied. The most common cutaneous findings were the presence of depigmented areas in the skin. Intracranial calcifications have been found in al! the patients.
The ocular involvement the disease is discussed, being the most characteristic finding the retinal phakomas, which were found in five patients.
