    El uso de las pruebas subjetivas (rejilla de Amsler, C.U.M., ELH) se considera útil en la detección precoz de las membranas subretinianas maculares. Nosotros hemos hecho un estudio comparativo utilizando las tres pruebas en 56 ojos (40 pacientes)con membranas subretinianas maculares de diferentes tipos, y hemos encontrado que C.U.M. es el más útil seguido de la rejilla de Amsler y el L.H. es menos específico.

    The use of the subjetive methods (Amsler grid, e.U.M. and Slit lamp beam test) are helpful in early detection of Macular subretinal neovascular membranes. We have done a comparative study using the three methods on 56 eyes of 40 patients with membranes of different types,we found that C.U.M. is the most useful one followed by Amsler grid and Slit lamp beam was the non specific one.
