    Se trataron 226 enfermos con retinopatía diabética proliferativa. Un grupo recibió tratamiento convencional, otro crioretinopexia al mismo tiempo y un tercero la crioretinopexia en dos etapas. Los resultados muestran la efectividad de la crioretinopexia panretinal en estos enfermos. Los mejores resultados pertenecieron al grupo que recibió crioretinopexia en dos etapas.

    226 patients with proliferative diabetic retinopathy were attended. A first group got traditional therapy, a second one at the same time, also got crioretinopexy, and a third group got crioretinopexy in two stages. The results show the effectivity of the panretinal crioretinopexy in these patients. The best results were those of the group which got crioretinopexy in two stages.
