Percepción de los docentes acerca del sistema informático de gestion para el control de avances académicos y asistencia

    En este artículo se presenta el estudio de la percepción de los docentes de una experiencia en el uso del sistema informático de gestión para el control del avance académico y de asistencia,  de los estudiantes, durante el curso escolar 2015-2016 en cuatro años académicos del Centro Educativo Colegio Técnico Nacional “Dr. Camilo Gallegos Domínguez” de la Ciudad de Lacatunga en Ecuador. Los datos se recogieron a través de las contestaciones de los docentes en un cuestionario aplicado post a la implementación de dicho sistema donde se le solicitaba que realizaran una valoración del mismo. A través de un análisis cuantitativo y cualitativo se definieron tres variables: utilidad del sistema; uso del sistema e incidencia del sistema en la gestión del proceso docente. Los resultados evidencian un criterio favorable del docente en cuanto a la utilidad de las prestaciones del sistema y en la incidencia de la gestión de la planificación, organización y regulación del proceso docente, ya que lo consideran muy rápido y fiable que le permite dar seguimiento a los resultados de los estudiantes, así como la actitud que asumen ante la asistencia a las actividades docentes, favorecido por la cantidad de información que ofrece. La disponibilidad y acceso permanente del sistema informático de gestión permite acercarse al conocimiento de las individualidades de los estudiantes, así como del grupo, permitiendo también la interacción sistemática entre los docentes, y por consiguiente de estos con los estudiantes.

    This article presents the study of the teachers' perception of an experience in the use of the computerized management system for the control of the academic progress and the attendance of the students during the academic year 2015-2016 in four academic years of the Educational Center National Technical College "Dr. Camilo Gallegos Domínguez "from the City of Lacatunga in Ecuador. The data were collected through the answers of the teachers in a questionnaire applied to the implementation of said system where they were asked to make an assessment of it. Through a quantitative and qualitative analysis three variables were defined: utility of the system; Use of the system and incidence of the system in the management of the teaching process. The results show a favorable criterion of the teacher regarding the usefulness of the system's benefits and the impact of the management of the planning, organization and regulation of the teaching process, since they consider it very fast and reliable, allowing him to follow up on The results of the students, as well as the attitude that they take before attending to the teaching activities, favored by the amount of information that it offers. The availability and permanent access of the computerized management system makes it possible to get closer to the knowledge of the individualities of the students as well as the group, also allowing the systematic interaction between the teachers themselves, and consequently of these with the students.
