Resumen de Una aproximación a la agricultura urbana en el estado Falcón, Venezuela

  Con el objetivo de caracterizar el  proyecto de agricultura urbana en el estado Falcón, se realizó una investigación con la aplicación de métodos teóricos, empíricos y de la estadística descriptiva, mediante lo cual se obtuvieron resultados que indican que la conformación del proyecto de agricultura urbana en el estado Falcón, se rigió por la idea inicial plasmada en el Proyecto  Nacional Simón Bolívar,  al estar organizado y conducido por la Fundación CIARA, instituirse en primer lugar  en el  municipio Miranda, capital del Estado,  el cual presenta el mayor número de Unidades de Producción Agrícola (UPA). Hay prevalencia del programa  en el 100% de los municipios donde está implementado, con valores que oscila entre  el 0,71 y  el 100%, donde el municipio Federación es el de más baja actividad potencial y  los municipios Bolívar y  Jacura, seguidos del municipio Maúroa  presentan el porcentaje potencialmente más alto de estas unidades activas, mientras la capital del estado (Miranda), logra el 15% de actividad, lo cual justifica la reanimación del programa,  prevista en cuatro de los nueve municipios donde se encuentra implementado para el 44,44% del total, con valores que oscilan entre 32,14 y el 89,58%, donde el  municipio Miranda presenta el 41,93% de reanimación.  Los elementos analizados facilitarán la toma de decisiones para el reimpulso de la agricultura urbana en el estado Falcón.

  In order to characterize the agricultural urban project  in Falcon state, a research was carried out with the application of theoretical, empirical and descriptive statistics methods, through which results were obtained that indicate that the conformation of the urban agriculture project in the Falcon state was governed by the initial idea embodied in the Simón Bolívar National Project, being organized and conducted by the CIARA Foundation, being first instituted in the municipality of Miranda, capital of the state, which has the largest number of Units of Agricultural Production (UPA). There is a prevalence of the program in 100% of the municipalities where it is implemented, with values ​​ranging from 0.71 to 100%, where the Federation municipality has the lowest potential activity and the Bolivar and Jacura municipalities, followed by the Maúroa municipality presents the potentially highest percentage of these active units, while the state capital (Miranda) achieves 15% of activity, which justifies the resuscitation of the program, foreseen in four of the nine municipalities where it is implemented for the 44 , 44% of the total, with values ​​ranging between 32.14 and 89.58%, where the Miranda municipality presents 41.93% of resuscitation. The analyzed elements will facilitate decision-making for the revival of urban agriculture in Falcón state.
