Orientación vocacional y tránsito a la vida activa: una experiencia ilustrativa

    El objetivo de este estudio es presentar la estructura y características fundamentales del Programa de Experiencias Mixtas de Formación y Empleo (EMFE) cuyo objetivo general fue introducir a jóvenes y adolescentes que viven en núcleos rurales en el mundo laboral, proporcionándoles las actividades formativas necesarias para ello. Tras una introducción respecto a la orientación vocacional y otros aspectos que están en la base de este tipo de programas, se aportan los resultados del Cuestionario Actitudes e intereses hacia Internet como recurso empleado para facilitar el proceso de inserción sociolaboral así como una evaluación del impacto y satisfacción que determinadas actividades educativas ha tenido en el alumnado participante en dicho programa como verdaderos protagonistas del proceso de enseñanza/aprendizaje. Los participantes fueron 40 alumnos, con edades comprendidas entre 16 y 24 años de edad (53.33% mujeres y el 46.67% restante hombres), de ámbito rural, de la provincia de Málaga, sin empleo anterior y sin cualificación profesional, alguno de los cuales presentan Necesidades Educativas Especiales y déficits en habilidades sociales. Los datos demuestran que el Programa ha sido una experiencia exitosa que ha contribuido a facilitar la inserción sociolaboral del alumnado participante, que el alumnado muestra actitudes positivas y buena predisposición hacia el uso de las nuevas Tecnologías como Internet para facilitar su aprendizaje y que la mayoría de las actividades realizadas les ha resultado muy satisfactoria, útiles e interesantes. Estos resultados indican que el Programa EMFE fue una experiencia exitosa que facilitó la inserción sociolaboral de este colectivo desfavorecido socioculturalmente.

    The aim of this study is presenting the structure and fundamental characteristics of the Program of Mixed Experiences of Formation and Employment (EMFE) whose general objective was to introduce teenagers who live in rural areas into the labour world, providing them the necessary formative activities. This study shows a review of some definitions, characteristics and introductory aspects of the vocational guidance that are very important in these programs, the results of the questionnaire “Attitudes and Interests to Internet” are contributed to facilitate the integral guidance of the participant, as well as an evaluation of the impact and satisfaction that some educational activities have had, especially, in the participants of this program, they have been the main characters of the teaching/learning process. Participants were 40 persons ranging in age from 16 to 24 years old (53.33% women and 46.67% man), teenagers who live in rural areas of Málaga without previous employment and without professional qualification, some of them presents Special Educational Necessities and deficits in social abilities. The data demonstrate that the Program has been a successful experience that has contributed to facilitate the integral guidance of the participant and the data also show attitudes positive and good bias toward the use of the new Technologies like Internet to facilitate their learning. The most of the activities that have been realized were very satisfactory, useful and interesting for them. These results indicate that the Program EMFE was a successful experience that facilitated the sociolaboral insert of this socioculturally disadvantage collective.
