    O artigo pretende lançar luzes sobre o movimento de retorno a Kant, da segunda metade do século XIX, realizada pelos teóricos Friedrich Albert Lange e Eduard Bernstein. No centro da investigação, encontra-se a pergunta: Em que medida a orientação reformista emancipatória de Lange e de Bernstein pode ser interpretada enquanto uma retomada da teoria reformista de Estado de Kant? Neste artigo, será defendido que esse retorno a Kant, apesar das grandes similaridades, não tem vínculo direito com pensamento jurídico-político de Kant, assim como que o lema “zurück auf Kant”, de Lange e de Bernstein, diz respeito, sobretudo, aos pontos de partida do projeto crítico kantiano da razão especulativa. O artigo inicia localizando Lange e Bernstein no interior do movimento neokantiano e das propostas alternativas ao socialismo revolucionário. Em seguida, trata da concepção reformista de Estado de Kant e da orientação social-reformista de Lange e de Bernstein e, por fim, faz ponderações sobre a profundidade e extensão desse retorno a Kant.

    The article aims to shed light on the movement of return to Kant, of the second half of the 19th century, carried out by theorists Friedrich Albert Lange and Eduard Bernstein. At the heart of the research is the question: To what extent can the emancipatory reformist orientation of Lange and Bernstein be interpreted as a resumption of Kant's reformist state theory? In this article, it will be argued that this return to Kant, despite the great similarities, has no direct link with Kant's legal-political thinking, as well as the fact that Lange and Bernstein's motto "zurück auf Kant" regards, above all to the starting point of Kant's critical project of speculative reason. The article begins by locating Lange and Bernstein within the neokantian movement and alternative proposals to revolutionary socialism. Then, it is discusses Kant's reformist conception of State and the socialist-reformist orientation of Lange and Bernstein, and finally it addresses considerations on the depth and extent of this return to Kant.
