  • We would like to start by thanking the five discussants for their constructive comments and kind words about our review on modeling issues in Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy treatment plan optimization. We hope that this review, along with the reviews and this rejoinder, will help both new and established researchers in this field in assessing the current state-of-the-art as well as exciting new research directions.
