The province of Africa (and Numidia) hosts several inscriptions that create unusual material evidence of the official cult of Sol during the last third of the 3rd and 4th centuries. This chronology is synchronic with the Sun-god epiklesis known as Sol Invictus, having a specific chronology, function and location.
